This hands-on ‘crafty’ course fosters creativity and fine motor skills while making unique masterpiece keepsakes. Each day is a new adventure. We will transform ordinary t-shirts into unique works of art using tie-dye, glow in the dark paints, colorful gems and more. We will explore the realm of accessories, in which we will design friendship and charm bracelets, cool necklaces, and many expressive treasures to be stored in a freshly decorated accessory box. Of course we will be using recycled materials to make some of our masterpieces! Art can be made from newspapers, bottle caps, styrofoam, bubble wrap, and more. The fun and creativity are endless! If you have some recycled items clean and ready to use…bring them along! Specific projects are dependent upon available recycled materials. Let the ‘crafty-ness’ begin!
