This special program, uniquely designed for children entering Kindergarten in Fall 2026, focuses on building the foundational skills needed for success in formal schooling while inspiring curiosity and an early love of learning. Through hands-on, interactive activities, children will develop the confidence and independence to successfully transition to Kindergarten. The program blends exploratory fun with math & language arts-based learning.

Key Focus Areas:

Pre-reading Skills: Engaging stories, songs, and conversations will help participants develop print and sound awareness, letter recognition, and sight word recognition.

Numeracy: Lively games, songs, math talk, and math crafts will expand numeracy skills through number line activities, counting, skip counting, and patterning.

School Readiness: Fine motor skills (pencil grip, cutting) and social skills (whole body listening, sharing, following multistep directions) will be practiced to prepare for the classroom setting.  By bridging curiosity with structure, this program provides an engaging experience sure to prepare children for their first year of school!
