What inspires YOU??? Create artwork that reflects your personal style and inspires others. Visit the world-famous Addison Gallery of American Art in Andover and have a picnic lunch on the lawn. Stretch your own canvas; use acrylics to develop an abstract painting based on your personal impressions of your museum visit. Construct a handmade book to be used as a journal or sketchbook, using handmade, colorful papers. Create an Andy Warhol-style graphic design using personal images and computers; then mount this work on a large mat board. Other projects may include collage, fabric, photography with another local field trip, and more.
