Join us for a week of creativity, where children will explore the vibrant world of creating art with acrylic paints! Participants will learn essential acrylic painting techniques, from using palette knives and brushes to getting messy with acrylic drip art. We will start the week with drawing fundamentals and color theory where students will gain confidence in their sketching skills, setting the foundation for their paintings. They’ll dive into mixed media projects, experimenting with various materials and techniques to create unique masterpieces. Each day, they’ll paint on different surfaces, including canvas, wood and paper, discovering the exciting effects that acrylics can produce. By the end of the week, all will have quite the collection of paintings to showcase their new found talents!
